Terms of service

These terms apply when you use needthatwebsite.com, operated by needthatwebsite in the United Kingdom. By creating an account you agree to them. You can contact us at hello@needthatwebsite.com.

1. The service

We provide tools to build, publish and host websites, including AI content and image tools, domains, professional email and online shop features. Features may change as we improve the service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• Keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account and for team members you invite.
• Give accurate information, especially for billing and domain registration.

3. Plans, payment and cancellation

• Building and editing are free. Publishing a website requires a paid monthly plan for that website.
• Plans renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal. Your site stays live until the end of the paid period.
• If payment fails or a plan ends, the website goes offline. We keep its content so you can restart, unless you ask us to delete it.
• Fees for a month that has already started aren't refunded, except where the law requires it.
• Prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Add-ons

• Domains are registered for the period purchased and are subject to the rules of the relevant registry. They renew automatically each year unless you turn renewal off, and you can get a transfer code to move a domain to another provider at any time. Domain fees can't be refunded once the domain is registered.
• Professional email is billed per mailbox per month.
• AI credits are used for AI images, logos, blog posts and event write-ups. Bought credits don't expire while your account is open. Free monthly credits don't roll over. Credits have no cash value.

5. Online shops

Shop payments are processed by Stripe through your own connected Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. We take no commission on your sales. You're the seller: you're responsible for your products, prices, taxes, delivery, refunds, returns and complying with consumer law (including your customers' rights to cancel).

6. Your content

You own the content you add to your websites. You give us a licence to host, copy and display it only so we can run the service. You're responsible for having the rights to everything you publish.

7. AI-generated content

AI tools produce suggestions that may be inaccurate. Review everything before publishing, especially prices, claims, qualifications and legal statements. You're responsible for what goes live on your site.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use the service for anything illegal, harmful, misleading or infringing, including fraud, phishing, malware, spam, hate, or content that exploits anyone. We may suspend sites that break these rules.

9. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the service running but can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted. Keep your own copies of important content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
