What to put on a salon website to get more bookings

Prices, photos, booking and the little details that turn salon website visitors into appointments.

People visit a salon website with three questions: what does it look like, how much is it, and how do I book? Answer those fast and your site turns visitors into appointments. Here's what to include.

1. A clear price list

Prices are the most-viewed part of any salon site. List every service with a price, or "from" price, and how long it takes. Hiding prices sends people to the salon down the road that shows theirs.

2. A booking button everywhere

Put "Book now" at the top of every page, linking to your booking system (Fresha, Booksy, Treatwell or similar) or a simple booking request form. On mobile, a tap-to-call button too.

3. Photos of real work

Your own photos of real clients (with permission) beat stock photos every time. A gallery of colours, cuts, nails or brows, kept up to date, shows your style better than words.

4. Meet the team

A photo and a line about each stylist or therapist, and what they specialise in. Clients often book a person, not just a salon.

5. Reviews

Your best Google reviews, with first names. New clients are nervous about trying somewhere new; reviews settle it.

6. Where you are and when you're open

  • Address, a map, and parking or public transport tips
  • Opening hours, including late nights
  • Phone number and Instagram

7. The little things

  • Patch test and consultation information
  • Cancellation policy
  • Gift vouchers, a great earner around Christmas
  • Products you sell
